I'm guessing this has to be cost effective or folks would'nt pay to have it done. I'm also envisioning a scenario where the truck owners can't afford a large immediate sum (save up for a new axle) but can afford a regular moderate routine sum (ie., fix and re-fix broken axles).

I love watching these channels, I learn new things all the time as you guys constantly amaze me how versatile and flexible your repairs are. I guess we take it for granted that parts are readily available but we are so wasteful, you guys over there are the great recyclists, you repurpose, manufacture using basic tooling and just thinking so far out of the box it’s a credit to you all. I love watching you, often greening a new way to attack a project on my own farm. Many thanks for posting so regularly and with such great contents.

Coulda used 20018 and no dice…..but, I do believe it held up better than imagined! I love these guys work ethics and ability to survive the hardest. Everything here is replace not repair…..there are boundaries I know this crossed from this point of view but none the less, very good work and efforts and I truly hope it put food on a lot of tables!

Where are you grounded to when you are welding? I don't see the ground going directly to the part you are welding on. Are you grounding through you lathe? Surley not, that would damage the lathe in many ways. Maybe someone else removed the ground from the part before you turned the lathe on? There at the last but it sure look like you went straight from welding to turning on the lathe, Hmm I don't know . Other than that, a fine job from my point of view.
